GOOD NEWS – Easter at Breakthrough

Easter is a time for hope, joy, and fresh beginnings—and we’d love for you to experience it with us at Breakthrough! Whether Church is totally new to you or it's just been a while, this is the perfect time to come along. No expectations, no pressure—just a warm, welcoming space where you can come as you are.

We’ll start with some uplifting music (don’t worry if you don’t know the songs—just take it in!), followed by a powerful message from Pastor Peter. This Easter, we’re leaning into Good News—because in a world filled with challenges, we all need something to hold onto. We’ll be unpacking the Easter story and what it means for you today.

After the service, stick around for some great coffee from our Eden Coffee Cart and a Hot Cross Bun feast—because Easter is meant to be celebrated together!

And for the kids…

We’re so excited to announce our first-ever Easter Egg Tiggy for all our Superkids right after the service! But that’s not all—there’s a very special guest joining in on the fun! Who could it be? You’ll have to come along to find out! No registration, no cost—just heaps of Easter excitement and surprises.

No matter your background or where life has taken you, you're welcome here. Come and see what the Good News is all about this Easter at Breakthrough.

Questions about Church?

During our Sunday church we also have an exciting Superkids program running on site  for children up to grade 6. The Superkid Academy is led by “Commanders” through exciting activities, energetic music and engaging lessons designed just for them.

There's a Parents Room at the back of the auditorium, with facilities for those with young children. This kid-safe space allows babies and toddlers to play and just "be kids", and their parents to still engage with what's happening in church whilst looking after their kids (and not worrying if they get noisy).

And if you want to hang around for a coffee and a chat, the kids can enjoy participating in our Easter-Egg-Hunt and a run around on the playground!

Church starts at 10am on a Sunday, but a lot of people like to get there a bit early to enjoy a coffee and chat in the lounge area.

Whatever time you arrive, we can't wait to welcome you!

Whatever you want! We're pretty casual and happy to have you whatever you're wearing. You'll find most people in casual attire.

We've got plenty of parking at Breakthrough. We're at the end of a court with a small carpark, and lots of street parking right outside the building, so you shouldn't have any issues.

Absolutely! If you can't be there in person, we'd love to welcome you online! We're committed to ensuring that those joining us online are able to receive God's breakthrough love and power right where they are.

But, having said that, if you can get there in person we highly recommend it! As much as we love connecting online, there's just something about worshipping, praying and connecting together in the room.

And on top of that, we haven't yet figured out how to serve you virtual coffees online!

We'd love to help you get to Church, so if you need help with transport let us know!

This is a free event and no registration/cost is involved. We do have as part of our regular Sunday meetings an "offering" which is when we give people the opportunity to bring a gift/donation to the Church to help continue the work that the Church is doing in our community and city. But there is no pressure or obligation to give.

Church Online
Church is wherever you are.

Every Sunday at 10am, church is live...wherever you are!

You'll be immersed in the whole service, live from the auditorium in Bayswater. Plus your livestream hosts in Studio B will be there to chat to you and pray with you throughout - so you're not just a spectator, you're a part of the family!

Sunday church is broadcast here on our website, or on our Facebook page, where you can interact with the hosts. You won't just be watching from home, but you will be a part of everything that happens!
