Rapid Fire

If your life were a movie, what genre would it be? An adventure cliffhanger movie.

What do you do for a job? I’m a voice actor.

Early Bird or Night Owl? Night owl 😬

Favourite celebrity to impersonate? Toss up between Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson.

If you could master any skill instantly, what would it be? Builder/handyman.

What's your signature dance move? In the past it was the sideways skip all over the dance floor. These days, it’s the stationary twist.

Share something about yourself that might surprise people? I love 50’s and 60’s musicals. Oklahoma, Carousel, The Sound Of Music, Camelot, South Pacific and many more. Much to my wife’s dismay.

Who’s the most famous person you’ve met? I’ve had dinner with Hugh Jackman and have interviewed Formula 1 legend Jack Brabham.

Please share your story of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: I auditioned on Zoom and about 6 weeks later, I was asked to come into the studio. I was up first and answered the easy questions up to about $500, then I passed. The next time it came around to me, the jackpot was $50,000, but I had to get through the $20,000 question, which I did with the help of Eddie. I’ve known Ed for quite a while, and he helped me through that question and the $50,000 question. I couldn’t believe it. Jossie nearly fell off the couch when I got home.

What's the most interesting place you've ever visited? I think Switzerland. It’s just about the most beautiful country in the world.

The Deep-End

When did you give your heart to Jesus?

Around 1996. I had met Jossie the year before. I always believed in God, but couldn’t wrap my head around the Jesus concept. Why did He have to die for me? I didn’t understand. Praise God for a wonderful mother-in-law. Jossie’s mum, over a period of time, explained the whole gospel concept to me on visits to the family property near Ballarat. Then one day… I just got it. Such a wonderful revelation.

What is one thing Pastor Peter has shared that has changed your life?

Pastor Peter has taught me many things, but I think the main lesson I’ve learned from him is to rest in Christ. To take His easy yoke and know that He will never leave me nor forsake me.
