Today in the western world we live in a society that is heavily influenced by the philosophy of religious pluralism; the view that all the world’s religions are equally valid. As such, our secular culture is extremely hostile to the particular truth claims of Christianity. The idea that Jesus Christ alone is the one and only way to God and heaven; the one and only means of salvation and forgiveness, is viewed by many in our society as intolerant, exclusive, offensive, arrogant and therefore totally unacceptable. As Christians looking to share the truth in love, how do we respond to this challenge of religious pluralism? How should we answer the objection, “Is Jesus really the only way?”
